May 18 - Pre-kick off for the LI Lighthouse Challenge Weekend and any others who want to board the Martha Jefferson Paddlewheeler, Port Jerfferson Harbor with a lighthouse dinner cruise. See and learn about the Old Field Lighthouse and its maritime history. Cost: $58p.

May 19-20 – Third Annual LI Lighthouse Challenge *LI Lighthouse Safaris will provide motor coach transportation for 20 or more lighthouse enthusiasts who prefer to relax and leave the driving to us. If interested, call now or before April 8th to get on the list. Details of the Challenge will be found on www.lighthousesociety.org. Brochures are at the printers. Call now to express interest. Prices based on number of participants and hotel selection.

2nd Tour in Puerto Rico – 7 nights/8days

Fly into San Juan on your own with frequent flyer miles if you have them. Check into the Embassy Suites Hotel on Isla Verde, 5 minutes from the Airport. Meet old and new friends at a hotel welcome, where you will spend the first two nights before doing a lighthouse challenge on this enchanted island. Your guides will take you to see as many as eight to ten lighthouses (los faros), if the weather’s on our side.
